Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Yan from Inner Mongolia was 55 years old. She was formerly employed at a branch of the Industry and Commerce Bank in Dayangshu Town, Elunchun Qi, Inner Mongolia, but was forced to retire and buy out her retirement entitlement. She was subjected to illegal arrests and harassment and died on October 25, 2004, as a result of such persecution.
