Case Description:
Chen Chengyong, male, 35, lived in Haizhu District of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, where he was an electrician at the Guangzhou Paper Manufacturing Corporation. Because he went to Beijing many times to appeal for Falun Gong, he lost his job. In November 2000, to avoid the brainwashing class, he left home and rented a different place to live.
Recently, news came out that Chen had died in a hut.
