Case Description:
Mr. Li Maoxun, 70 years old and a retiree of the Dalian City Procuratorate in Liaoning Province, firmly cultivated Falun Gong, which resulted in a forced labor sentence and illegal incarceration at the Dalian Detention Center for a year and a half. His son and daughter were sentenced to three years of forced labor since they had appealed on behalf of Falun Dafa in Beijing. The prolonged persecution and frequent attacks made Mr. Li ill. He passed away on March 31, 2005.
