Case Description:
Ms. Yang Xianmei was a 35 year-old lady who lived in Gaojiageda Village, Jiangjiatun Township, Xuanhua County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. She began to cultivate Falun Dafa in July 1998. Before practicing Falun Dafa, she had colon cancer and even after going through surgery, the doctor said that she would live for another three years at most. However, through practicing Falun Dafa, she became healthy again. Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, the local police often harassed and threatened her. Over the years, such prolonged mental stress made her ill and she died in 2005.
