Case Description:
Ms. Zhang Guangwen, 38, lived in Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. She obtained the Fa in 1996. In 2000 Ms. Zhang went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and to clarify the truth and was arrested. She once held a hunger strike for two days in protest of her illegal arrest and was later released. She died in July 2004.
