Practitioner Ms. Wang Ruilan, 78 years old, was a vegetable farmer living in Xiyangzhuang, Shucai Township, Zhoukou City, Henan Province. Her land was taken away from her and she had no other way of making a living. All three of her family members practice Dafa. Her son went to Beijing to appeal and was detained for seven months in 2001. The police often ransacked her home, fined her and threatened her. She passed away on October 11, 2001.
