(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Wang Liping from Yueyang City, Hunan Province was arrested on June 10, 2009, and is now imprisoned at the Baimalong Woman's Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. Her family's requests for visitation were denied.
Between 5 p.m and 6 p.m on June 10th, Tang Jianmin, Xiong Gangyong, and several dozen officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Lou District Police Department and the Sanyanqiao Police Station arrested Ms. Wang at her store. The officers searched both her store and home looking for evidence. They seized several dozen blank CDs, which she sells at her store, and seized her store's accounting ledger which was returned to her husband the next day. Ms. Wang was detained at the Hubin Detention Center that night, then transferred to the Yueyang Detention Center the next day. On July 10th, she was taken to the Baimalong Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she remains imprisoned.
The Domestic Security Section director, Jiang Chao, told Ms. Wang's husband that she was reported by the Yueyang National People's Congress assistant commissioner, Yi Lizhen, and a bureau's assistant director. They said that they found Falun Dafa fliers in the government residence compound where they lived. Ms. Wang became a suspect because she was a practitioner.
Ms. Wang's family's visitation requests have been repeatedly denied. Recently, the family attended a July 14th appointment with both the Domestic Security Division and the Baimalong Women's Forced Labor Camp. When they arrived at the camp, the camp administration said that they did not have a written approval from the 610 Office and denied their visit. The administration refused to forward clothing to Ms. Wang, citing "virus prevention."
