"It Is Really An Eye-opening Experience for Me"
A 57-year-old retiree of the Gong'an County Flour Factory, Hubei Province, watched the 2009 Shen Yun Performance DVD at the home of a Falun Gong practitioner. When the show began, the splendid scenes immediately caught her attention.
She continuously praised the show, saying that the performance was wonderful, with beautiful and vivid backdrops, colorful costumes, great dances, beautiful songs and moving lyrics. She was especially impressed with the little girl, who performed excellently. She said, "It is really an eye-opening experience for me. I have never seen such an excellent performance. The Falun Gong Teacher is absolutely terrific. He has so many excellent practitioners to present this top class show."
Once the show was completed, she immediately placed incense in front of the picture of the Falun Gong Teacher and bowed to him. She said loudly, "Falun Dafa is Good! Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is Good!" She asked for some Shen Yun DVDs to take home, so that she could share the joy with her friends and family members.
Brothers Start Practicing Falun Gong After Watching the Shen Yun Performance
Two brothers from a village in Zhangzhuangpu Town, Gong'an County, Hubei Province enjoy music. A few days ago, they visited a relative who was a Falun Gong practitioner, where they watched the Shen Yun performance DVD. The brothers were very excited, saying that watching this excellent show was like being in heaven, and it made them feel wonderful.
The brothers praised the vivid animated backdrops, beautiful costumes, and the well-performed dances. The elder brother said that the Fan Dance, and the performance "Ji Gong Abducts the Bride" were his favorites.
The brothers had previously watched Falun Gong truth-clarification media, so they knew that Falun Gong is good. After watching the Shen Yun DVD, they felt even more the dignity and benevolence of Falun Gong, and they expressed their desire to become practitioners. They took the exercise DVD, exercise music CD, and the book Zhuan Falun home. They also took some Shen Yun DVDs for their fellow villagers, to share the sacredness and inspiration of the Shen Yun performance with them.
A Student's Stomach Pain Disappears After Watching the Shen Yun Performance
Xiao Dan, a student in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, visited her grandmother (a Falun Gong practitioner) one day at noontime. Ms. Xiao told her grandmother that she was experiencing stomach pain, so her grandmother took out the Shen Yun DVD and said, "You should watch this performance. It has the power of the Buddha." They watched the show together. When the host said "(When treating illness) music first, medicine later," Ms. Xiao thought it over and said, "That's true. In traditional Chinese spelling, the character 'Medicine' adds the character 'Grass' on top of the character 'Music.'" She returned home after watching the DVD.
That evening, her grandmother called to ask about her stomach pain. Ms. Xiao said that the pain disappeared when she left her grandma's home.
