(Clearwisdom.net) I have been practicing Falun Dafa for over ten years. In that time I have felt deeply that only when we study the Fa the way Teacher asks and improve ourselves can we better save sentient beings and validate the Fa.

When the persecution started I was very scared, because I work for the government. I often found that I couldn't open my mouth when I wanted to tell people the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa. I sent forth righteous thoughts to tell myself, "I want to assist Teacher in rectifying the Fa and tell everyone about the beauty of Dafa. I must eliminate this fear. Please help me, Teacher." Since then, I began to come across different people who were eager to learn the truth. and I felt that Teacher had brought them to me.

One day a woman came to my place of work to do certain things. After I helped her finish what she needed to do, she did not seem to want to leave because it was raining outside. I thought I'd clarify the truth about the persecution to her. We started chatting and when I got a chance, I told her, "Don't believe what they say on TV. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) does nothing but lie and suppress the people these days. Falun Gong teaches Truth-Compassion-Forbearance. People have gained health and their moral values have improved. Isn't terrible for the CCP to suppress such a practice?" She replied, "I don't know much about Falun Gong, but I know the CCP doesn't treat us like human beings. Now I know Falun Gong is good because you are nice. The CCP officials never help us with our needs and you are nice enough to help me with everything I need. Thanks for telling me about Falun Gong." I told her about quitting the CCP and she did it without hesitation.

A woman in her thirties came to the office. She asked for financial assistance because her husband and child had died a few years ago, and she was too sick to work. I felt sorry for her and wanted to tell her about Falun Dafa, but I couldn't speak up because there were other people in the office. so I followed her outside, pretending I was taking out the trash. I told her to recite "Falun Dafa is good" and she would become healthy. I also told her not to believe the lies on TV about Falun Gong. I said, "The CCP is so very evil. Did you ever join it? Would you like to quit using an alias?" She readily agreed and thanked me before she left. Seeing that she understood the truth, I was so happy for her that I cried. I knew Teacher was arranging for people with a predestined relationship to come to me and learn the truth.

I once ran into a former classmate I hadn't talked with for 20 years. He came to the office to claim a pension for his son. We chatted, but it seemed that he was in a hurry to leave. I said to him, "You've heard about Falun Gong? The self-immolation reported on TV wasn't true. The Falun Gong teachings are against any form of killing, including suicide. The self-immolation was staged by the CCP to suppress Falun Gong." He quickly replied, "I know. I don't believe what it said on TV. I could see a lot of suspicious things from the video on TV." When I told him about quitting the CCP, he proudly said that someone had already done it for him.

When I went to a market to do my grocery shopping, a vendor I knew whispered to me and asked whether I had a copy of Zhuan Falun to lend her. She had been feeling depressed. I lent her Zhuan Falun along with a video of the 2008 Chinese New Year Spectacular. A few days later, I ran into her again and she told me she had seen the Spectacular show and had almost finished the book. I told her to read the book repeatedly and that it would be good for her. I also told her to keep the book if she wanted to continue reading it, otherwise I would need it back. She wanted to keep the book and I could see by the look on her face that she was no longer depressed.

I came across a few hitchhikers one day while I was driving. I wasn't going to pick them up, but they seemed honest enough, so I changed my mind. I tried to chat with them and looked for an opportunity to get onto the topic of the persecution. Several times in the conversation I had the opportunity, but I couldn't get myself to talk about it. I thought to myself, "Teacher, please help me. I want to save these people." As I was getting close to home, I said, "Have you ever heard about Falun Gong?" They quickly replied, "Yes". I asked them what they thought about it. One of them said, "Falun Gong is good, unlike what it says on TV. The practitioners are good people." Another person continued, "The CCP is so evil and corrupt. It only knows how to suppress the people." I told them to recite "Falun Dafa is good" and they would be rewarded with good luck. They told me they had joined the CCP's youth organizations, so I offered to quit for them and they all agreed.

I have seen that the sentient being are eager to hear about Falun Dafa. As long as we always have the righteous thought that we are saving sentient beings, Teacher will arrange opportunities for us. In the process, we improve our character, save sentient beings, and build our mighty virtue.
