Germany: Chinese Audience Members Greatly Impressed with the Shen Yun Show (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 14, 2009, Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company staged one show in Dresden, Germany. The splendid performance generated warm applause and acclamation from the audience. Chinese audience members were especially proud of Shen Yun's promotion of traditional Chinese culture. A father and his daughter from Shanxi, Chin, enjoyed the Shen Yun show so much that they went to see it several times in Berlin and made a special trip to Dresden to watch it again.

(Clearwisdom.net) Shen Yun Performing Arts began its three-day run in New Zealand at the ASB Theater in Auckland on April 15.

Dr. Pita Sharples, the Minister of Parliament for Maori Affairs and Education, had his mokopuna's (grandchildren) with him. He said, "Oh, it is excellent, just extraordinary. The costumes are amazing, they use them to good effect, and I am pleased to hear they are part of tradition. And the choreography is good, the dancing is good, the masters of ceremony are so professional."

(Clearwisdom.net) After Shen Yun Performing Arts 2009 World Tour opened at Auckland's ASB Theatre on Wednesday evening, college vice principal Mr. Clements highly praised the show. The educator felt he gained a deeper knowledge of classical Chinese culture. One of the dances was "The Mystical Phoenix," in which dancers evoke an image of the sacred birds moving around above the clouds. Mr. Clements said, "We can understand why, for example the phoenix is so significant."
