(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Zideng from Laiwau City, Shandong Province, was persecuted and on the verge of death. He was transferred to Shandong Police Hospital for emergency treatment. His mother wanted to visit him, but was turned away by the prison and the hospital for no reason. Not only that, the hospital refused to disclose Wang's current condition to his family.

According to a past report on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom), Wang Zideng was a business owner in Guansi Market. After starting to practice Falun Gong, he learned how to be a good person, with high moral standards, and his business prospered..

After the CCP started the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, Mr. Wang was harassed by the local police department and the 610 Office. From the end of 2000 to the beginning of 2004, he was forced to become homeless. On the afternoon of August 5, 2004, he was arrested by plainclothes police while picking up his son from school. He was illegally detained in Laiwu Detention Center for ten months. In June of 2005, he was illegally sentenced by the CCP to seven years in jail and transferred to Taian Prison.

He went on hunger strikes to protest the persecution while in the prison. The guards then treated him even worse, so much so that he was on the verge of death and had to be taken to Shandong Police Hospital for emergency treatment. Taian Prison told his family that they could visit him in the hospital but turned around and told the hospital not to allow visits from Wang's family. His family is really worried about his situation.

In recent years the CCP has mistreated practitioners in Shandong Police Hospital. Meng Lijun from Zhangqiu City and Ba Shuqun from Jinan City were persecuted there.

We would like to call on all human rights organizations and compassionate people around world to pay attention to this persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Together we have to end this situation as soon as possible.
