(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners Ms. Yan Jinlan, Ms. Peng Jie and Ms. Zhao Xinyan are from Jining City, Shandong Province. They are all over 60 years old. They have each recently been secretly sentenced to long prison terms by the Center District Court of Jining City. Ms. Yan Jinlan was sentenced to a four-year prison term, and Ms. Peng Jie and Ms. Zhao Xinyan were both sentenced to three-year prison terms. They all refused to accept that they had committed any crimes, and they appealed to the Jining City Intermediate Court. They were informed by the Jining City Intermediate Court that they would make a judgment about the case in the following week.
On November 15, 2008, at approximately 6:00 p.m., police officers Wang Fei, Liu Hao and Miao Shiyan, along with ten to twenty other police officers, broke into the homes of these three practitioners and arrested them. They are currently detained at the Jining City Detention Center, and their health conditions are not good.
