Deputy Secretary General Chen Ching-tsai of Executive Council: Chinese classical dance is so elegant and beautiful

Deputy Secretary General Chen Ching-tsai of the Executive Council praised the show, "After watching the first half, I like it very much. The performance is very good. Only after watching the show do I know that Chinese classical dance requires such high-level skills. The dancing is elegant. I did not see that in the photos. But after watching the dancing on the spot, I feel that Chinese traditional dance is so elegant and beautiful."

Deputy Director of Disease Control Bureau: Great help for the health of human beings

Shi Wen-i, Deputy Director of the Disease Control Bureau, and his wife watched the show. Mr. Shi praised the high-tech backdrops. He thought that the backdrops not only provided story backgrounds, but showed ingenious design. He was impressed with the active dancing in Dragon Springs Drummers, "I watched the dancing with my wife's binoculars and noticed their facial expressions were great. When using strength, they still kept smiling."

Mr. Shi was a licensed doctor and knows a little about qigong. He said, "I think the majority of the audience members are interested in the beauty of the show. But for me, I think if everyone can join the practice, it would be a great help to the overall health of human beings."

He said with a smile, "I just had a thought that the dancers' movements were not typical of dancing. I think that the dancing of the dancers on stage, from individual to overall, were the movement of a smooth running entity and a force on their bodies." He said he wished to make an investigation and see if there is any difference in the life spans of the dancers and the general public.

Former Regional Chief of Armed Forces: Great and beyond expectation

Mr. Wang, a former regional chief of the armed forces, praised the show after watching it, "Very good. I had a fresh feeling about the dancing, music, backdrops, and costumes."

Mr. Wang said that such a performance was rare in Taiwan since it presents Chinese traditions and merges ancient principles and modern life. He said, "The songs were very good. The inner meaning, the choreography, and the scenic design are all very nice. It is beyond my imagination. The performers must have a sound background of training."

He continued, "When I watched the show, I thought of telling my friends to watch it. Such a performance is excellent on the world stage."

Member of Control Council: It is good for everyone to watch the show

Member of Control Council, Mr. Frank, Fengshan Wu, attended the Shen Yun Divine Performing Arts show in Taipei on February 27, 2009, along with his wife. He frankly said, in an interview, that the dance called Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution made him feel a mixture of relief and sadness, and that he was very much impressed by that.

"I was impressed with the scene of the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. I hope that more people are able to see the show and gain more insight about it." He added that what made him feel sad was that Falun Gong practitioners were persecuted by the Chinese Communist regime, and they even lost their lives. What made him feel pleased was that the Chinese regime's persecution didn't move Falun Gong practitioners' steadfastness in their belief; though the protagonist was unfortunately persecuted to death, he was brought back to heaven by gods and Buddhas, and his life was able to elevate and persist forever.

Seeing the Shen Yun show for the first time, Mr. Wu stressed that China used to be a diverse nation with many cultures, including diverse dance, music, etc., and that Shen Yun presented this multi-culture to the audience. "Every act was very unique, colorful and magnificent," he continued. He also mentioned that he would recommend this wonderful show to his friends.
