(Clearwisdom.net) I am a 68-year-old man. When I was young my aspirations ran high. I wanted to accomplish a great deed for my Motherland, China. But, I had been deceived and poisoned by the the false reasoning and heresy publicized by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I gradually turned into an obedient tool of the wicked CCP. After reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party I suddenly awoke from my daze. Thus, my heart is still disturbed when remembering my unsuccessful life. My hard work was not enough and always defeated my purpose.

I live in a small county in the Yanshan Mountain area. Installing antennas to receive New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) requires a lot of time, which didn't matter because I am retired and was home all the time. I joined the effort to promote and install satellite dishes to allow people to receive NTDTV programs. Though, this was not a major project, it was a great tool to save sentient beings.

We risked persecution by the CCP minions. We were volunteers who had to supply our own tools and work from dawn to dusk. Sometimes we needed to climb on the roof of a building to install or adjust the antenna. In the biting cold winter we were shivering from the cold and in the scorching hot summer we were dripping with sweat. However, nothing could affect our determination to promote NTDTV.

When we were in high spirit and in full swing to promote NTDTV, Eutelsat, the European company that owns the satellite that carries the NTDTV signals that reach into mainland China, stopped broadcasting NTDTV programs. This was like a bolt that had hit us out of the blue. All our previous efforts were wasted. Why did Eutelsat begin assisting the wicked CCP? This would affect many people in Asia. How could the company shut down the signals, lying about the reason? We wondered if the principles of non-discrimination, equal opportunity and respecting the freedom of the media were written into the company's charter.

Since China's opening to the outside the world its economy developed very rapidly. However, this is a false phenomenon. It was the result of numerous "image projects" and shameless boasting. As a matter of fact China's economy is on the verge of collapse. The majority of people are struggling and close to poverty. NTDTV attracted Chinese viewers because of its programming, which reflect the characteristics of truthfulness, reliability, fairness, outspokenness, and its return to traditional culture.

People who paid to have satellite dishes installed suffered financial loss and psychological injury when Eutelsat switched the broadcasts off. They felt that we had fooled them. Nevertheless, many people continue to ask about NTDTV and hope it will begin to resume its broadcasts in China.

In China, NTDTV was playing an important role in changing the attitude of practitioners' families toward Falun Dafa. Out of fear of being persecuted by the CCP, many families tried to stop practitioners from studying the Fa, practicing the exercises and clarifying the facts. After watching NTDTV, they began to support practitioners and some even helped distribute truth-clarification materials.

Many people were unwilling to install NTDTV because the Eutelsat satellite offered few other channels. After watching NTDTV for a while, their attitudes changed. They said, "One station is enough. We don't need to watch other stations," or "This is the only station that speaks the truth." In rural areas after one family installed the NTDTV antenna, neighbors and relatives would all visit so they could watch the programs. In other words it became another truth clarification venue. Gradually, they saw through the true nature of the wicked CCP and eventually their home became a center where people would come to quit the CCP.

The CCP is the root cause of all the calamities in China. It is most important for the Chinese people to see the true nature of the CCP. When Eutelsat stopped broadcasting NTDTV, it actually aided and abetted the evildoers.

Without NTDTV, the one voice media, the CCP's mouthpiece, returned to China once again and the entire country is under the information blockade. Nowadays, it is impossible for people not to watch television. With the NTDTV broadcast unavailable, Chinese people have no choice but to watch CCP broadcasts, which are full of lies. It's known to people inside and outside China that the CCP fabricated lies one after the other during the Beijing Olympics. Dozens of television and radio stations broadcast the Olympics around the clock. The wicked CCP tried very hard to make itself look great. It proclaims to be "great, glorious and correct," but it twists nationalistic pride to serve its own needs and deceives the Chinese people.
