One particular aspect of the show caught his attention. "I think that the whole message was about hope and that there is always going to be hope out there no matter how dark it gets. That is really what I picked up from the whole show," he said.

Mr. Alexander felt it was very important for people to see this show. "It's an experience, it's the experience of a lifetime. If someone has not seen it, they need to, because it is something that they need to have in their mindset."

Another audience member who shared his feelings was Mr. Eagle, a retired sales executive from an international company specializing in power tools. He said, "I'm enjoying it. I especially liked the drummers. And both the men and the women dancers look great.

He elaborated on what he liked about the show: "I would say the music, the colorful costumes, the precision of the dance, all the movements."

A former actress, Mrs. Ratliff, was astounded. "It's absolutely magnificent, much better than I ever anticipated," she said. "I never expected it to be this magnificent; this is like being in New York."

"I felt so much energy from the stage, and the drums just filled my body with energy. I loved that. Everybody's so graceful and the stories were so tender and so easy to understand. It was just the best show I've seen in years."

Mrs. Ratliff was particularly thrilled to be able to see the performance live. She had seen Chinese performances on television and in the movies, but had never seen anything like this before: "It was just, like I said, more than I expected. It was wonderful. I would like everybody to come."

Ms. Ratliff believed that the show would inspire young people to take up dance. "If you have any children, not necessarily just small children, but all ages that have any interest in dance, they must see this. It would give them such inspiration to get started in dance. But every age needs to come see this. It's wonderful."
