Politicians Amazed by DPA Show (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts (DPA) 2009 World Tour wowed audience members at its first-ever show in Kitchener-Waterloo at the Centre in the Square Theatre on Tuesday, January 6, 2009. The extravagance of five-thousand-year-long classic Chinese culture and art won high praise of the audience, including many local politicians.

(Clearwisdom.net) Divine Performing Arts (DPA) performed on January 4, 2009 at Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, NY, as part of their 2009 World Tour. The show celebrates traditional Chinese culture with classical, ethnic and folk styles of Chinese dance, including influences from various dynasties, classical Chinese stories, and solo vocal performances. The show features stunning state-of-the-art animated digital backdrops and original costumes bursting with brilliant colors. Audiences have consistently acknowledged the beauty of Divine Performing Arts.

Dean of the Faculty of Music: "One Feels Connected to That Music in a Deep Way" (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) Dr. Charles Morrison is the Dean of the Faculty of Music at Wilfrid Laurier University, and a renowned music theorist. He watched the Divine Performing Arts show at Waterloo-Kitchener's Circle in the Square Theatre on Tuesday, January 7, 2009. He was fascinated by the show's music and praised the erhu music as gripping and haunting. On the comprehensive presentation of culture in the format of the show, he said, "Art is good in the sense that it can remind us of all aspects of life in a kind of non-threatening way but just sort of give us a history lesson and be portrayed artistically."
