(Clearwisdom.net) Divine Performing Arts performed its Chinese New Year Splendor at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on the weekend of the Chinese New Year holiday, January 24-25.

Divine Performing Arts takes its inspiration from a 5,000-year-old Chinese culture, which consists of myths, legends and historical stories. State-of-the-art animated backdrops enhance the stories of the show, making the audience feel as if transported to an ancient and mystical world.

Among the diverse audience members was Erik Moskowitz, who works at a bank. During the intermission, he shared his thoughts about the show. "So far, it's fantastic. It's more than what I had expected. At first I thought that it was just going to be like regular singing and dancing, but I really took it for granted, just how diversified Chinese culture is. Both the music and the dances, everything is so diverse, it really lives up to the name of Chinese Splendor. Words really can't describe it. It is great and I am hoping that the second half, if it's half as good as the first one, it's still a great show."

Tiffany Greene is a store manager. After watching the first half of the show, she said: "So far, I think it's very inspiring. I love the clothes, I love the culture. I have been a huge fan of oriental cultures for a long time...I love it."

As a fan of fashion design, Tiffany's favorite aspect of the the show was the costumes. "The dancing and the clothing is very inspirational to me, because I am very much into fashion, so that's why I actually came."
