(Clearwisdom.net) Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Gong, Mr. Zhu Xiansheng's family from Mei County, Guangdong Province, has been severely persecuted.
In July 1999, Party agents ransacked Mr. Zhu's residence. They took away all his Falun Dafa books, VCDs, TV, and other personal items. They confined him in the Fuda Detention Center in Mei County for a month and extorted 5,000 yuan from him.
In 2001, several CCP agents arrested Mr. Zhu and his wife, Li Xiufang. They were taken to a brainwashing session at the Fuda Detention Center.
In 2002, the police arrested Mr. Zhu again and detained him for a month at the same detention center. He was later transferred to Mei County Brainwashing Center. During that time, his weight dropped from 70 kg (155 lbs.) to 55 kg (120 lbs.) due to torture. He has never regained the weight, and appears gaunt and weak.
Mr. Zhu's wife, Ms. Li Xiufang, was arrested and taken to the Meizhou City Brainwashing Center in 2005. While there, she went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was force-fed by individuals who had been directed by personnel from the 610 Office. Two months later, she was able to leave. Later, 610 Office personnel attempted to arrest Mr. Zhu, but with Master's empowerment, he was able to escape. The couple was forced to leave home to avoid near-certain arrest. At the end of 2005, police officers followed Mr. Zhu and arrested him again. He was sentenced to three years of forced labor and taken to the infamous Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province. Because he did not meet the health requirements of the labor camp, he was rejected and returned home. His daughter, Zhu Surong, was arrested at the same time. They detained her for 15 days in the Fuda Detention Center.
On the night of May 6, 2008, several dozen police officers surrounded his house. They broke the lock and arrested him. They confiscated his Falun Dafa books, a satellite dish, computer, printer, blank discs, and around 5,000 yuan in cash. To this day, Mr. Zhu Xiansheng is still in the Fuda Detention Center.
On May 15, 2008, agents from the Mei County 610 Office worked with the local government of Chengjiang Town, Mei County, and over 20 officers from the police station. Together they arrested his wife, Ms. Li Xiufang, and their daughter, Zhu Surong, then took them to the Mei County Brainwashing Center. Ten days later, Ms. Li Xiufang left the brainwashing center, and the class dispersed.
Because Mr. Zhu Xiansheng's family follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and want to be good people, CCP agents have tormented three of them financially, physically, and mentally. Their family has had to endure intense pressure and pain.
