(Clearwisdom.net) Cases of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) arresting Falun Gong practitioners continue on the eve of the Olympic Games. Falun Gong practitioners in Queensland, Australia, held a peaceful protest in front of the Chinese Consulate in Brisbane on August 6, 2008, to condemn the CCP for its inhuman crimes and to call on the international community to investigate the persecution.

At noon, Falun Gong practitioners formed a "Great Wall of Courage" with banners, which exposed the CCP atrocities. A Falun Gong practitioner told the reporter, "We chose to hold this activity on the eve of the Olympic Games because we hope all kind people, while watching the Olympic Games, will be aware of the thousands and thousands of Chinese people under persecution. We call for media, society and all people of conscience to help stop the persecution."
As darkness fell, Falun Gong practitioners lit candles to mourn their fellow practitioners who died due to persecution. It was peak traffic time, and many passersby accepted fliers and asked for more information about the persecution. Many people expressed their support. One young lady said, "Falun Gong, great job!" A Chinese student said, "Thank you for your hard work! Keep up with your efforts!"
