Insights Gained from Studying Master's New Teachings
(Clearwisdom.net) I have gained three new insights while studying Master's Fa Teaching at the U.S. Capital.
First, I am more confident about my mission to save people. Since Master has explained the origins of sentient beings from the Three Realms, it has eliminated the illusions I used to see using the naked eye. I have come to realize clearly how precious sentient beings of the Three Realms are, as well as the significance of saving them. Being lost in delusion, being deviated and committing sins are not their true nature or their original goal in coming to this world. Their salvation depends on how well we Dafa disciples explain the meaning of Falun Dafa to them. I now understand the meaning of Master's words in "Righteous Thoughts",
"Dafa disciples are now sentient beings' only, sole hope for salvation."
Second, my attitude towards sentient beings has changed. They were not given their lives so that they could be lived out as ordinary people. How they live their ordinary lives does not constitute the sole standard of whether they are good or bad, or whether they deserve to be saved. I have discarded some of the emotions that I used to feel, including excitement, happiness, resentment, anger, enmity, and disappointment. I no longer harbor these feelings towards people, regardless of whether they understand and support us, and even if they persecute us. I have replaced these emotions with a feeling of heartfelt compassion and I try to maintain the following state:
"He quietly observes the people of the world deluded by illusions. " ("Realms", Essentials for Further Advancement)
I have reached a new understanding about my responsibility and what it means to be a "Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple." I am now concerned with breaking through their delusion and with saving sentient beings.
Third, I now know what to do to improve. On the one hand, I have to pay more attention to cultivating myself well and deal with every aspect of our family, society, workplace and everyday life. On the other hand, we should hurry up to save sentient beings. I no longer look at what we are doing individually as a small matter. I think of saving sentient beings day and night. At the same time, I will collaborate well with my fellow practitioners according to Master's direction,
"The focus for you right now is simply to find ways to do better, to be more efficient, to have a greater impact, and to save more people. " ("Fa Teaching at the US Capital")
