Chicago Practitioners Protest CCP's Eight-year-long Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong in Heavy Rain (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 18, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from the Greater Chicago area gathered in front of Chinese Consulate in Chicago to protest the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) eight-year-long persecution of Falun Gong and to commemorate the more than three thousand practitioners verified to have been tortured to death by the CCP. In heavy rain and wind, the practitioners read out the names of the fellow practitioners tortured to death, warned the CCP, and let the world's people know that practitioners will persevere in their belief! Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance will prevail.

Calling for Conscience in Front of the Liberty Bell for nearly Eight Years despite Rain and Wind (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Liberty Bell is located on Independence Square in downtown Philadelphia. Since July 1999, the Bell has witnessed a group of people that are firm in their belief. Every weekend, despite the cold of winter or the heat of summer, they have conducted truth-clarification activities to stop the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. For eight years, countless tourists have learned the facts and found out about the crimes occurring on the other side of the globe. Countless Chinese people who were deceived by Chinese Communist Party's lies learned the facts. On the eighth anniversary, the reporter interviewed some of the practitioners in front of the Bell.

Taiwan: Legislative Committee Members in Pingdong County Sign Condemnation Bill and Ignite Human Rights Torch (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of July 14, 2007, a group of Falun Gong practitioners appealed to legislative committee members Cheng Chao-ming, Pan Meng-an, and Liao Wan-ju. Before July 1, Falun Gong practitioners went to Hong Kong to participate in the protest of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution. Many were denied entry, detained and deported. After learning these facts, the members signed the bill in the legislative committee requesting a response from the Hong Kong government and condemning Hong Kong's violation of the human rights of the Taiwanese people.
