On the morning of June 8, 2007, several officers from the Jiangyuan County Police Department in Jilin Province searched practitioner Ms. Jiao Yongzhi's home illegally and seized Falun Dafa printouts, a computer, a printer, and other items. They arrested Ms. Jiao Yongzhi and her daughter Ms. Zhang Yulan.

The Qinhuangdao City Gas Company illegally detained its employees Ms. Hou Yanru, Mr. Wang Quan, Mr. Wang Weidong, Ms. Mei Yingjiu, Mr. Wang Wei, and Ms. Wang Xiuming. The company forced the practitioners to undergo brainwashing in Chengjian Hotel in Qinhuangdao City for more than 20 days in the year 2000, and charged them with keeping their belief along with fabrications. The company unlawfully terminated their work contracts.

In April 2007, Jiang Aiguo (male) and others from the National Security Division of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province arrested practitioners Ms. Cao Fengying and Ms. Yue Yuqi and searched their homes. They seized a color TV, a VCD player, several TV satellite receivers, a picture of Master, Falun Dafa books, an MP3 player, and other items from Ms. Yue's home. Ms. Cao and Ms. Yue are being illegally detained in the Shisanli Detention Center of Zhangjiakou City. Visitation has not been permitted.

Ms. Ye is dying because of the torture. She is too weak to speak or walk. She was unlawfully put on trial on June 4, 2007.

On the morning of March 5, 2007, practitioners Mr. Lei Yuexian and Ms. Zhang Yuzhi were turned in for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. Agents from the Wei County 610 Office in Hebei Province arrested them and illegally searched their home.

On May 26, 2007, practitioner Mr. Li Haojie, a resident of Xingcheng City (under Huludao City), was arrested and taken to the brainwashing center at the Luotai Inn in Fushun City.

On June 6, 2007, Ms. Yu Dexia, Mr. Liu Qingjie, and another practitioner (name unknown), residents of Tiandeshen Village, Yushu City, were arrested. Mr. Liu escaped later, but his home was illegally searched.

On the morning of June 7, 2007, practitioner Ms. Xu Yanchun, a resident of Mada Village, Yilan County was turned in for making handouts on Falun Dafa. She was arrested. She is detained in the Yilan County Second Detention Center.

On the afternoon of June 7, 2007, officers from the Xixiaying Towship Police Station in Zhunhua City in the Tangshan metropolitan area deceived practitioner Mr. Wu Fenglin and forcibly sent him to a brainwashing center.

On the afternoon of June 7, 2007, practitioner Mr. Liu Guoxing, a teacher at the Pahzhihua City Steel Corp Electromechanical Institute, was arrested at his home by officers from the 610 Office. His home was searched.

In June 6, 2007, practitioner Mr. Yang Jicheng, a resident of Ganjingzi District, Dalian City, was arrested in Beijing, where he went to validate Falun Dafa. He is detained in the Ganjinzi District Police Station in Dalian City.

Mr. Yang and his younger brother were illegally imprisoned in the Dalian City Labor Camp for 3 years as of May 2005. His mother was imprisoned illegally in the Masanjia Labor Camp in Shenyang City.

From April to May 2007, Wang Zhiming (male), Zeng Maowei (male), and other guards in the Handan City Forced Labor Camp repeatedly beat practitioners Mr. Zhang Jinsheng, Mr. Wang Hong'en, and Mr. Gu Daping with rubber batons.

Practitioner Mr. Zhai Jinduo, a resident of Hexi District, Tianjin City, was arrested by officers of the Donghai Police Station. He is subjected to being locked up in a "Small Cell"[1] in the Hexi District Police Department Detention Center.

On April 9, 2007, practitioner Ms. Xiang Shiqing, an elderly resident of Guiyang City, was arrested while clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. She was taken to the Guizhou Province Brainwashing Center. There, she was subjected to torture and force-feedings daily. She was dying, and she was sent to Guizhou Province Police Hospital on May 5.

On June 5, 2007, Ms. Jin Meihua and Ms. Jin Huiying, practitioners and residents of Hangzhou City, were arrested. They are detained in the Laodongyue Detention Center in Hangzhou City. Mr. Sun Xiaojun, a practitioner and a resident of Fuyang City, was arrested the following night. He is being detained in the Fuyang City Detention Center.

On May 24, 2007, Gulin County practitioners Mr. Luo Qingsheng, Ms. Chen Mingfen, Mr. Chi Fuzong, Mr. Luo Xingjiu, and others gathered in Mr. Luo Xingjiu's home. Lai Yongqiang (male), head of the Jingxing Village Police Station, and officers from Dachun Town illegally arrested them at Mr. Luo's home. The practitioners are being detained in the Gulin County Detention Center.

On May 18, 2007, Ms. Wang Yulan, Ms. Hu Layan, Ms. Yang Qianhe, Ms. Luo Dongmei, Mr. Yang Mingxian, and Mr. Sun Lijun, practitioners and residents of the Qianlianghu Area in Junshan District, Yueyang City, were arrested by Junshan District police while distributing handouts about Falun Dafa. The police released Ms. Yang Qianhe, Ms. Luo Dongmei, Mr. Yang Mingxian, and Mr. Sun Lijun after extorting 3,000 yuan from each of them. Ms. Wang Yulan is being illegally detained in the Huarong Detention Center.

Shantou City practitioner Mr. Ding Wulai was tortured in the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp from 2002 to 2004. He was repeatedly beaten and forced to sit half squatted with his hands handcuffed on each side. He was subjected to "digging in bamboo sticks [2]." He was taken out of the camp in 2004. No one has heard from him since.

On May 24, 2007, Ms. Li Shufang, Ms. Li Shuyun, and Ms. Sun Guizhi were arrested. They are being detained in the Liaoyuan City Detention Center.

On the morning of June 7, 2007, the officers from the Daqinjia Town Police Station, the 610 Office, and the Zhaoyuan City Police Department illegally searched Mr. Qin Weidin's mother's home and seized Falun Dafa books. Later they arrested the couple Mr. Qin and Ms. Li Meixing, searched their home, and seized a laptop computer, a VCD player, a sound system, a TV satellite receiver, and a tape recorder.

On the morning of June 2, 2007, the officers in the San'ta Police Station and the Taihe County Police Department arrested Ms. Dong Fang, Ms. Li Aiyun, Mr. Tian Xianlong, and Ms. Han Fang. They seized an electric bike, a motorcycle, three MP3 players, more than 1,000 yuan cash, a cell phone, a radio, a tape recorder, and a stereo system.

On June 2, 2007, Ms. Zhang Ping, a 75-year-old retired doctor from the Donggang District Hospital in Rizhao City, was arrested by officers from the 610 Office. She is being detained in the Rizhao City Detention Center.

Ms. Song Bing was brought to court for trial again in May 2007. She is a practitioner and an accountant at the Anhui Radio, Film & TV Provincial Administration. She has been detained in the Hefei City Second Detention Center since her last arrest in the end of 2006. During the her detention, she was questioned multiple times. The guards handcuffed her hands and feet to iron chairs [3]. Her buttocks started to fester and her legs swelled up. She is unable to walk.

(1) The detainee is locked up in a very small cell individually. The guards handcuff practitioners on their back in a fixed position, in which the practitioners can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the daytime. During the night rats are running around. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.

(2) The police hammer sharp bamboo sticks into the fingers of the practitioner through the tip of the fingernails. In the process of the hammering, the fingernail will get torn off completely. As one's fingers are extremely sensitive, the hammering process causes the kind of excruciating pain that one cannot even begin to describe. The police first hammer the bamboo stick into one finger. If the practitioner still refuses to yield, the police will hammer bamboo sticks into more and more fingers until they reach all 10 fingers.
