(Clearwisdom.net) Reading media reports regarding the Chinese Communist regime taking organs from Falun Gong practitioners reminded me of something. Did they plan to but fail to harvest my organs? I had been given 12 bottles of IV drugs at the Beijing Police Hospital. The doctor there had offered me free surgery to correct my "enlarged spleen."

I found a job in Beijing through an acquaintance in November 2004. I arrived in Beijing on November 23 and stayed at Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Xupeng's home in the Haidian District. Several police officers wearing black uniforms broke into the residence at 1:00 a.m. on November 26 when I was sound asleep. They jumped on top of me to keep me from getting up.

I was startled awake. When they turned on the light, I saw no less than ten police officers standing in the room. Several officers were on top of me. Their sheer weight caused injuries. The police then handcuffed my arms behind my back and took out a video camera and a conventional camera. They videotaped and took pictures of Mr. Li Xupeng, Mr. Ma Wanli, and me. They covered up our heads, pushed the three of us into a police car and drove us to the Malianwa Police Station. I was in pajamas at the time, and Li Xupeng and Ma Wanli were in shorts.

It was past 2:00 a.m. when the police started interrogating us. I asked them, "Why did you arrest us?" The police couldn't answer me, and I refused to answer any questions from them. Some time after 8:00 a.m. the police covered up our heads again and took us to the Haidian District Detention Center.

The detention center guard told us to squat and shout, "Report!" They forced us to line up to be photographed, and ordered us to wear a prison uniform. I refused to follow any of their commands. They took me to a cell in Division 4. Two inmates approached and tried to body-search me, but I stopped them. One inmate kicked me in the legs until they were black and blue. Then they sent me to another cell.

The Party officials at Haidian District National Security Bureau interrogated me. Guard Zhang Dongsheng at Division 4 kicked me to the ground because I refused to wear a prisoner's uniform. He dragged me along the ground for more than 20 meters in the hallway.

I refused to submit to the illegal interrogation and went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

Three days later, guards, inmates and a detention center doctor force-fed me. The guards tied me to a bed with belts and together with inmates they held me down. I refused to cooperate with them, so they opened my mouth with a mechanical device and injected water into my mouth with a syringe. I struggled with all my strength. They pushed hard on my head and pulled the feeding tube back and forth. When I bit the tube, the doctor cut off part of the tube that was hanging out of the corner of my mouth. He violently yanked the remaining part of the tube out from deep inside my nose, making my nose, mouth and ears bleed profusely. I struggled very hard. The guards put cotton balls in my ears and nose. They asked the inmates in the cell to take turns watching me 24 hours a day. They ordered the inmates to wipe away the blood, change the cotton, stop the bleeding and report any change in my condition.

The guards took me to the Beijing Police Hospital the next day, where they drew my blood upon arrival. I was extremely weak. They drew two vials of blood and took me to the basement. They put me in shackles, handcuffed me to a bed and proceeded to examine my external injuries, or so they said. The hospital kept the examination record, and the doctors tried to give me injections. I refused. They failed to stick the needle in me after several attempts.

Hospital police officers Ding and Ma tightened the shackles around my ankles and connected the shackles to the foot of the bed. They stretched my arms out and connected the handcuffs to the poles on the headboard. I was now fixed in a spread eagle position and completely immobile. They infused me with unknown drugs through IVs in my legs from 9:00 a.m. until very late at night. They infused me with well over 11 bottles of drugs in total.

All this fluid and the infusions gave me severe edema. The handcuffs and shackles cut deeply into my wrists and ankles, which caused excruciating pain. They refused to unlock me, even when I needed to use the restroom. I was forced to relieve myself in place on the bed. I was soaked in my own urine, as they completely ignored my condition. In the middle of the night, I called out to the person on duty out of terrible pain. I asked him to unlock me, but he refused. I shouted many times, and the people sleeping in the same room could not sleep.

The police made me sign a document. I had to promise I would resume eating the following day before they loosened the handcuffs but did not unlock them.

They put me through an X-ray the next day and continued to infuse me with 12 bottles of drugs on a daily basis for two weeks, after which the amount of drug dropped to seven bottles a day.

A doctor from the Internal Medicine Department told me that I had an enlarged spleen and needed to undergo surgery. He hoped I would cooperate with the hospital, or my liver function would be adversely affected. He asked me to sign a document. I said, "You sign it or my family can sign it." I also said, "I don't have any money." The doctor said the detention center would pay for the surgery.

I thought this was suspicious: why would the detention center pay for my surgery? Usually, Dafa practitioners were forced to pay any medical expenses that occurred during the persecution.

During previous persecution incidents, I was given several physical exams. Beijing Security Bureau Detention Center agents had my blood drawn, and I also had a physical examination there. The same thing was done at the Division 7 Detention Center in Beijing and at the Tuanhe Hospital. I was arrested many times before. For the past decade during which I practiced Falun Gong, I had never been sick. Yet, the doctor at the police hospital said I had problems with my liver and spleen and offered me free treatment.

A doctor from the Surgery Department also asked me to sign a form consenting to surgery, but I refused. Two weeks later the surgeon told me, "We've issued your work unit a Notice of Critical Condition for you. If you don't have surgery, you won't live more than two years."

My hands and feet were affixed to a bed the entire time I was at the police hospital. Twenty-five days later, on December 27, 2004, officials from the Haidian District National Security Division transferred me to the No. 309 Hospital in Beijing, a military hospital. The medical staff tried to pressure me to submit to IV infusions, but I firmly turned them down.

They saw that I was at the brink of death. They injected me with some drugs on December 31, 2004 and drove me to the train station in a military ambulance. Two security officers carried me onto the train. Local police officers took me back to Jiamusi City in Heilongjiang Province.

It was January 1, 2005 when I arrived in Jiamusi City. Local National Security Division officer Chen Wanyou took me to Jiamusi City Detention Center and held me there. He promised the detention center authorities that he would take full responsibility for anything that happened to me. I was taken to a hospital the next day for a medical exam. I was told that my liver and spleen were enlarged, but my gallbladder was normal.

Prior to the persecution I had been quite healthy. My liver and spleen became enlarged only after I received a daily dose of almost a dozen bottles of unknown drugs for two weeks at the Beijing Police Hospital. My body still hurts to this day.

After reading articles exposing Party officials sanctioning the harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners, I think the police were trying to seize my organs but later gave up for some unknown reason.

I hope that the international community and human rights organizations will learn the facts by talking to Falun Gong practitioners about their experiences.
