(Clearwisdom.net) Many Singapore citizens were shocked by Falun
Gong practitioners’ protesting Lee Kuan Yew’s persecution of Falun
Gong on the streets. Some Singapore citizens, especially the
government officers, consider Lee Kuan Yew the father of the
nation, and they have a very deep misunderstanding of Falun Gong
practitioners. One day, when a practitioner passed out materials at
a subway entrance, a woman called the police. Later the
practitioner went away, but this woman followed him and reported
his location to the police. The practitioner got on the subway, and
then that woman also got on the subway and asked the practitioner
where he lived. The practitioner then said to her: "OK. Let’s get
off, and you call the police. Let’s wait for them." The
practitioner also tried to clarify the truth to
her, but she refused to listen. Soon, two policemen came. They
checked the truth-clarifying materials, and recorded the
practitioner's and that woman’s ID numbers. The police said that a
higher ranking officer would come to handle the matter. The
practitioner clarified the truth to the policemen and waited for
the higher ranking officer with them. They waited for 45 minutes,
but the higher ranking officer didn’t come. The policemen finally
returned the truth-clarifying materials to the practitioner, and
the woman felt embarrassed and left.

Three of Mr. Cao Jiwei's Relatives Arrested by 610 Office Head When Requesting a Family Visit
(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of February 22, 2007, Deputy
Head of the Loucun Township Police Sub-station Wang Jinshi and his
men arrested practitioners Mr. Li Zhenfang and Mr. Cao Jiwei. The
police confiscated 5,800 yuan and other valuables worth 3,000
yuan. Wang Jinshi cruelly beat Mr. Cao Jiwei. He pulled his hair,
slapped his face, and stepped on his hand and ground it into the
gravel. He then tied a rope around his neck and pulled it tight. He
also took off Mr. Cao's shoes, threw them away, and ordered him to
walk barefooted to the police substation. Upon arrival at the
substation they continued to beat Mr. Cao before taking him to the
Laishui County Detention Center where he was beaten again. Mr.
Cao's eyes were black and blue and swollen shut.
