After Recovering from Paralysis Through Practicing Falun Gong, Mr. Jiao Meishan from Hebei Province is Illegally Detained and Persecuted for Almost One Year

(Clearwisdom.net) Jiao Meishan, a staff member at the Shijiazhuang Casting Pipe Factory, Hebei Province, was paralyzed during an accident at work. In September 1996 he started practicing Falun Gong. After three months he was able to stand up and walk again. Since then, he has not spent any of his employer's money for medical costs. After the persecution of Falun Gong started in July 1999, the street office and police station frequently came to his home to harass him. Jiao Meishan was forced to leave home and became homeless. In March 2006 he was arrested by police and detained at the No. 2 Police Station in Shijiazhuang City. On November 30 an illegal court hearing was held, and currently he is still illegally detained.

(Clearwisdom.net) On the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of March 2007, Falun Dafa practitioners took part in the ECO-Therapeutica Beurs in Leuven, a city in the Flemish speaking part of Belgium. Practitioners set up a beautiful booth decorated with the giant Chinese characters for Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) and several dozen pictures of Falun Gong practitioners worldwide peacefully appealing for the end of the persecution. Informational materials about the practice of Falun Gong, the persecution in China by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit were also displayed. In addition, the practitioners also invited people to come and learn how to make origami lotus flowers as sign of hope for the children orphaned during the persecution.

The Crimes Committed by Chen Jun from Qianjin Prison in Beijing

(Clearwisdom.net) Chen Jun, the political head of the 12^th Ward of Qianjin Prison in Beijing, is originally from Hubei Province. He was the former team head of the 9^th Ward. Chen is very cruel. When he was working in the 2^nd and 9^th Wards, he collaborated closely with Cao Lihua and persecuted Falun Gong practitioners for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). When he was in the 9^th Ward, because he worked hard to persecute Falun Gong, he received the "Collective Class Two Merit Reward" from the CCP. In early April 2004, since the number of detained Falun Gong practitioners kept rising, Chen was transferred to the 12^th Ward, which only detained practitioners. In the 12^th Ward, he is the political head, and has been committing numerous crimes against practitioners.
