(Clearwisdom.net) Around 8:15 p.m. on December 30, 2006, my seven-year-old grandson asked me to practice the sitting meditation with him. I said, "Maybe we should still do the standing exercises first, before the sitting meditation." My grandson, being an easygoing child, agreed and we started practicing the exercises. Before practicing, I re-stated the rules of practicing the exercises in order to sit in tranquility: "You cannot move even if your arms are in pain or your legs are sore – you have to persevere 'till the end." After finishing the first, third and fourth exercises after half an hour, I went to switch to the cassette tape containing the music for the second exercise, when my grandson said, "Grandpa, I'm tired, my stomach hurts." I replied, "Don't talk, persevere 'till the end and you will succeed." Before I finished my sentence, my grandson rolled backwards on his back and fell on a paper box. About ten seconds later, he got up and continued doing the second exercise. He said, "I'll tell you about it when I'm done practicing the exercises."

Half an hour later, when the second exercise was completed, my grandson bent down, covered his stomach with his hands and squat for a minute. When he got up, he said, "Grandpa, when I was doing the second exercise just now, I saw Master, I also saw Bodhisattva Guanyin. I'm not lying, I'm telling the truth. Master's feet are very, very big, as big as the entire house; Master's eyebrow is as big as me; Master's ear is as big as you and me put together. Master was sitting on a lotus flower meditating, there was a lot of light coming from above Master's head, there was red, yellow, green and blue light, just like the setting sun in the horizon, it was very beautiful. Bodhisattva Guanyin was also as big as our house (we live in a medium-sized house). Bodhisattva Guanyin stood on Master's left, standing on the same beautiful lotus as Master, holding a bottle in her hands, throwing water on my head with green leaves, and the water droplets were golden in color. Master's voices is even more resounding than loudspeakers. At this time, my stomach began to hurt a lot and I fainted. I was afraid that you would scold me and so hurriedly got up to continue practice the exercises."

I asked, "Is Bodhisattva Guanyin male or female?" My grandson replied, "Bodhisattva Guanyin is female, on the right there are also Bodhisattva Puxian and Bodhisattva Wenshu." At this time, I encouraged my grandson. Then, I changed to the cassette with the music for the fifth exercise. When the Buddha music sounded, my grandson said again, "Please hold on for a moment, I'll tell Mom (who is deaf and mute) that I've seen Master and I'll come back in a bit."

About two minutes later, he came back running, eating a large banana. I asked, "Don't you have a stomachache? Why are you eating again?" He replied, "I want to eat and it doesn't hurt anymore." After that, we began practicing the sitting meditation. When we finished, my grandson said, "Grandpa, I didn't see anything this time, why isn't Master taking care of me now?" I replied, "It's not that Master is not taking care of you, it's just that you can't see Master. You'll be able to see Master if you study the Fa well every day." Our grandfather-grandson exercise session thus ended in such a miraculous way.
