Recently, practitioner Lu Youliang from Liangxinbao Town, Junshan District, Yueyang City, Hunan Province was hit by a motorcycle and had to have stitches in his head. Mr. Lu did not ask the driver to pay for the medical expenses. He told him that he was a Falun Gong practitioner, and thus would not use the incident to take his money. He also gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and urged him to quit the Chinese Communist Party to be safe. The driver reported him. On January 28, 2007, Yang Yu, Director of the Justice Bureau of Liangxinbao, came with a group of people and arrested Mr. Lu. They beat him up and put him in jail. Mr. Lu's 15-year-old son went to ask them to release his father, and was also beaten up.
