1. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Supplemental Information regarding the Arrest of Several Practitioners
The police waited outside of Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Sun Mins home at the Yangjiataizi Development District, Yantai City and arrested practitioners Ms. Bi Jianhong from Yantai City and Mr. Tang Peiwu from Weifang City after the two practitioners had finished installing a computer for Mr. Sun. They left his home at 4:00 p.m. on October 15, 2006. Police ransacked Ms. Bis truth-clarifying materials production site later and confiscated a copier, a laptop computer, a printer and a lot of paper. An older woman practitioner from the materials production site was also arrested.
Police also ransacked another truth-clarifying materials production site in the Muping District, and confiscated three copiers and a large quantity of paper. Also confiscated were three pieces of satellite equipment for receiving New Tang Dynasty TV Station programs. Practitioner Ms. Liu Yunling and another female practitioner were arrested.
In addition, practitioner Mr. Yu Jianchun was arrested and police confiscated two large copiers, a printer and many banners promoting withdrawal from the Communist Party. These items were valued at over 100,000 yuan.
2. [Shan County, Shandong Province] Practitioners Xu Sumei and Zhang Meiyun Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Xu Sumei, a retired primary school teacher in Shan County, distributed truth-clarifying materials at the countys Manufacture Materials Company on December 28, 2006, but was reported to police, and arrested by personnel from the county Chengguan Police Station. Police then went to her home and broke in, without the presence of any of Xus family members. Xu is presently being held at the county detention center.
Police arrested practitioner Ms. Zhang Meiyun on December 30, 2006.

3. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Persecution of Practitioners
Officer Wang Lu from the Hefei City 610 Office arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Xifeng at the citys Education Institute and put her into the Xinyu Brainwashing Class. Practitioner couple Mr. Xu Bujun and his wife were also arrested and taken there. Practitioner Ms. Wu Xiaohua, employed at the Architecture and Technology Institute in the city, is presently being held at a mental hospital.
4. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Officials from the Seventh Chinese Petroleum and Natural Gas Construction Company Persecute Practitioners
Over 200 employees of the Seventh Chinese Petroleum and Natural Gas Construction Company practiced Falun Gong prior to the persecution, which began on July 20, 1999. After the suppression of Falun Gong started, company officials set up their own brainwashing classes and closely cooperated with personnel from the Jiaozhou City 610 Office to persecute practitioners. More than a dozen practitioners have been put into the Zhangjiatun Brainwashing Class, and several have been sentenced to forced labor. Agents from the company's Security Section personally participate in the persecution of practitioners, including arresting and beating practitioners, and sending practitioners to brainwashing classes, detention centers and custody centers.

5. [Liaoning Province] Persecution Information Regarding Practitioner Pan Qi
It is heard that officer Chen Xin from the Dalian City National Security Division arrested practitioner Pan Qi and put him/her into the citys Yaojia Detention Center in July 2005. Pan Qi went on a protest hunger strike but was brutally force-fed about ten days later. Police inserted the force-feeding tube into Pans trachea, choking Pan. They force-fed Pan the second afternoon and tied Pan to two metal rings on a bed. They handcuffed and shackled practitioner Pan behind his/her back and used a short metal chain to lock the handcuffs and shackles together. Pan could not stand up, straighten him/herself. Police kept the force-feeding tube in Pans esophagus, which made it difficult for Pan to breathe. Pan was released after 15 days of a hunger strike.
6. [Shanghai] Practitioner Han Zhiyong is Missing
Personnel from the Shanghai National Security Division arrested practitioner Mr. Han Zhiyong at his home in the Baoshan District in Shanghai on July 15, 2006. He was then taken to the National Security Division Detention Center. They ransacked his home and found many copies of the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party." Police deprived him of sleep for three days. They also put some unknown drug into his food, which made him sluggish.
Mr. Han's sentence was changed to house arrest on July 31, 2006. He was moved into an apartment rented by the agents from the National Security Division. Police watched him every day and prevented him from going to work. Mr. Han escaped in late September because he could no longer tolerate the agents' harassment. His whereabouts are unknown.
Before Mr. Han's arrest he had filled out documents for study abroad. He received matriculation letters from several renowned universities in the United States and had selected the School of Medicine at Harvard University, to pursue his Ph.D. degree. Mr. Han successfully obtained his visa in June 2006. He was about to leave for United States when police arrested him and confiscated his visa. Neither his girlfriend in the United States nor his parents in his hometown know his whereabouts.

7. [Qinzhou City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Practitioner Chu Licai Persecuted
Practitioner Mr. Chu Licai from Jinju Village, Wangbu Village, Shabu Township, Qinzhou City chose to leave home and live in exile in June 2003 after he was reported to police while distributing truth-clarifying materials. Lai Hui and other officers from the citys police department arrested him in June 2006 and put him in the citys No. 1 Detention Center. While he was living in exile his home was ransacked. Police harassed all of his friends and relatives. After his arrest, his aged father and older sister frequently went to the police department and the 610 Office to request his release, but they were threatened and their request denied every time. His aged mother passed away in late October 2006 due to excessive grief. She was denied seeing her son before she died.

8. [Zhangping City, Fujian Province] Practitioner Xu Xiaoqiang and Lai Jiyan Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Xu Xiaoqiang and Ms. Lai Jiyan from Zhangping City have been held in the No. 1 Detention Center in Xiamen City for over forty days. The authorities issued an arrest warrant on December 31, 2006, but her family refused to sign it to acknowledge the arrest.

9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Wang Haos Detention Term is About to Expire but Officials Refuse to Release Him
The forced labor term of practitioner Mr. Wang Hao from Wuhan City will expire on January 16, 2007, but the police authorities are not going to release him because of his steadfast belief in Falun Gong. Mr. Wang has been subjected to a multitude of tortures, but police are still using all means to "reform" him. Police aggravated his persecution as the end of his term neared.
10. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Practitioner Yang Hong Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
Mr. Yang Hong, 36, works as an interpreter in Urumqi City. Nanhu District 610 Office agents in Urumqi City had him under long-term surveillance because of the sites he accessed using the Internet. Thus he was arrested on November 9, 2006. Police confiscated his two computers and a printer. The officials interrogated and tortured him many times, and attempted to force him to give up the practice of Falun Gong, but he refused. Mr. Yang has now been sentenced to one year of forced labor.
11. [Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Practitioner He Lidong and Three Others Sentenced to Forced Labor
Personnel from the Yanqiken District Police Department arrested practitioners Mr. He Lidong, Ms. Shi Wenxiu, Ms. Yang Jinhua and Ms. Fan Lingling three months ago. They worked at the Huguang Sugar Factory, in the Second Agricultural Division in Kurle City, Xinjiang AR. The arrest took place on October 10, 2006. The four practitioners were sentenced to forced labor on November 10, 2006 and then sent to a forced labor camp near the WuJiaqu. No family visits have been allowed.
