1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Zhang Junying and Other Practitioners Illegally Arrested
Following orders from their superiors, every policeman in Longtan District started to illegally arrest Dafa practitioners. Now, Ms. Zhang Junying, Mr. Ma Zhanfang, Ms. Chen Guixian, Ms. Maying, Mr. Zhang Futian, Ms. Zhao Yulian, Mr. Zhang Lijie, and Mr. Wang Jiyue's homes (total 18 homes) were searched. Zhang Futian, Ma Ying and Zhang Junying were illegally held at a detention center.
2. [Panjin, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Wang Yuzhu Illegally Detained
On August 16, 2006, Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Yuzhu went by tricycle to clarify the truth and persuade people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He was reported by security and was illegally detained in a garage at the Yingbin Police station in Panjin. He has now suffered torture for ten days.

3. [Jiaohe city, Jilin Province] Dai Yuzhu and Two other Practitioners Illegally Arrested by Plainclothes Police
Jilin Jiaohe City Practitioners, Ms. Dai Yuzhu, Ms. Zhang Shuzhi and Ms. Cao Yumei were in practitioner Dai Yuzhu's home, when police who had been hiding arrested them.
4. [Lishu Town, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Wang Chunfang Persecuted to Death
On July 30, 2006, at 3:00 a.m., Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Chunfang, who lived in Guojiadian County of Lishu Town in Jilin Province was kidnapped by Guojiadian Town police officers for clarifying the truth. On August 8, an illegal arrest warrant was issued. Her family tried to rescue her, and the police used this chance to extort fifty thousand yuan from them.
5. [Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Xi Shujuan Illegally Arrested
Hangzhou practitioner Ms. Xi Shujuan was illegally arrested on August 17, 2006. Her home was searched and more than 300 pieces of truth clarification material were stolen. Policemen who control her district have now arrested her.
6. [Beijing City] Dafa practitioner Wang Yushan Illegally Arrested by an Officer in His Company
Mr. Wang Yushan, 50, lived in Pingge County of Yiquren District in Shunyi Town, Beijing. Two plainclothes policemen illegally arrested him at 11:00 a.m. on August 23, 2006. His wife and children were arrested at the same time. Now they are being illegally detained at Shun Yi shooting range.
7. [Beijing city] Practitioner Kan Shufeng's Persecution Situation
Ms. Kan Shufeng, 59, was reported for distributing truth clarifying material in September 2001. She was illegally sentenced to eighteen months in a forced labor camp. On October 17, 2005, at around 7:00 p.m., seven or eight plainclothes police officers broke into her home. They didn't show any documents and illegally searched the place, and arrested her. She was again taken to a forced labor camp for another two and a half years. She is currently being detained in the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp, Team No. 2.
8. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhao Yuhong Again Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labor
Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province Dafa practitioner, Ms. Zhao Yuhong was sentenced to forced labor at Zibo Wangcui Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province for three years in 2000. In 2002, she was again illegally sentenced, this time to four years. She was detained at Shandong Women's Prison.
On March 8, 2006, she was arrested by Zhaoyuan 610 Office agents and traffic policemen and brought to Zhaoyuan Linglong brainwashing center. She was separately detained in a small room for five months. On August 19, Zhaoyuan 610 Office agents took her to a forced labor camp. She was then transferred to Shandong Zibo Wangcun Forced Labor Camp where her persecution was continued.
9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Dafa Practitioner Wang Mingnan Illegally Arrested
Wuchang District Wuhan City Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Mingnan was illegally arrested on the afternoon of August 24, 2006. His home was illegally searched, and his whereabouts are not known.
10. [Wafangdian, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Xu Zhongqiang Forced into Homelessness
Liaoning Wafangdian Delisi Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Zhongqiang was illegally arrested sixty times. In late July 2006, he was reported and police officers in Delisi jumped over a wall at Xu's home and tried to arrest him. He escaped while still in handcuffs, and he is now homeless.

11. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Wang Deqi Illegally Arrested
At 4:00 a.m. on June 16, 2006, Lidian County Police officer, Pan Guoxiang and five other officers from Wafangdian City drove a police car to Quda County Dafa practitioner Wang Deqi's home. They broke down his door and arrested him. He was brought in handcuffs to a hospital in Dalian City for a check up. He was released at night.

12. [Weifang city, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Gao Wenmei Arrested Again
Ms. Gao Wenmei lived in Dongzhuan County of Dayujieban in Guiwen District of Weifang City. In June 2006, she was illegally detained and her home was searched as well. Five thousand yuan was extorted from her, and then she was illegally sentenced to a forced labor camp for eighteen months. She is now being detained in Jinan.
13. [Tianjin City] Dafa Practitioner Liu Xiuqin Illegally Detained
At 3:00 p.m. on August 16, 2006, Xiangyang Road policemen from the Tianjin Nankai sub Police Station lied so they could have police pose as cab drivers to spy on Ms. Liu Shuqin. They pretended to ask about the truth of Falun Gong. When she kindly clarified the truth to them they immediately arrested her and searched her home.

15. [Qu Town, Sichuan Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Wang Renwei Arrested
On August 18, 2006, Qu Town 610 and National Security officers arrested Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Renwei. On August 21, he was taken to a hospital in Qu Town for treatment. At that time, he was tortured so severely that he was completely unrecognizable. Tubes were inserted into his body that filled with blood. When he was arrested, his food and truth clarifying materials, along with more than 400 yuan in cash and a cell phone were taken away.

16. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Sun Jinxiang Persecuted
At 3:30 p.m., August 21, 2006, Laiyang 610 Office agents, Wei Haibo, Sun Hongjin and four other officers illegally searched Sun Jinxiang's home. At the same time, they went to her son's home and stole a computer, a cell phone, a printer, a multi-function machine, three boxes of paper, fifty CDs, three pictures of Teacher, one Falun picture, Teacher's Fa CDs and tapes etc.
