(Clearwisdom.net) December 10, 2006 was the International Human Rights Day. On a busy street on Batam Island, Indonesia, Falun Gong practitioners held a series of activities to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. The practitioners were divided into four groups. The first group reenacted the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The second group of practitioners held an anti-torture exhibit, simulating the torture of Falun Gong practitioners in China. The third group demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises. One group clarified the facts about Falun Gong to people.

The activities on International Human Rights Day attracted the attention of local media. Several newspaper agencies sent reporters to conduct interviews. Seeing the reenactment of torture methods, reporters raised many questions such as why Falun Gong practitioners have been subjected to persecution in China. Photographers took pictures of the torture methods that the CCP used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
