(Clearwisdom.net) The Fa rectification is about to draw to a close, and history will not repeat the Fa rectification. How glorious and noble it is for us, during this special historic period, to follow Master and validate this great and sacred Fa! As a Dafa disciple during the Fa rectification period, I feel it necessary to write down what I have experienced in my cultivation, to share with the fellow practitioners, so we can encourage each other, improve together and boost our progress as a whole.

Practitioners in my Fa study group told me that the Minghui website publishes dozen of articles daily that other practitioners have written. They suggested that I write my experiences and not let Master down for his compassionate salvation. I rejected that suggestion, saying that I had not cultivated myself diligently and had not done well. I soon after awakened and decided to write an article after reading a paragraph of Master’s Fa,

I started to practice Falun Gong in October 1998. I did not know then what made me enter Dafa cultivation. I merely remember that a practitioner had lent me a copy of Zhuan Falun. After I read the book I seemed to have understood some principles and become a different person. I followed Master’s Fa to guide myself to become a better person. I had heard some other cultivation stories from books and television programs. I always thought, though, that Buddhas, Taos and other enlightened beings are just some legendary figures and did not actually exist. In the process of my deepened understanding of Dafa I slowly came to understand these things. But I could not really comprehend that a human can become an enlightened being, attain the Right Fruit and reach consummation, not to mention that I could become a Dafa disciple and validate the Fa.

Some time after, I failed to cultivate myself diligently and left Dafa, hardly practicing at all before the persecution began.

I did not know what was happening at the time the persecution started. I did not know about the staged, deceptive "self-immolation" incident, nor of going to Beijing to validate the Fa. I just heard others spread rumors that Dafa was not good and that practicing Falun Gong was forbidden. I still believed that Dafa is good, however, and this belief was very strong. I did not believe the slanderous propaganda on television and radio. For various reasons though, I was unable to contact any practitioners I had known in the past. But benevolent Master had not given up on me. As if by accident, I met practitioners that I had known in the past. With their help I came to know what a Dafa disciple should do, and I thus went back on the path of Dafa cultivation. Here I want to say from the bottom of my heart, "Thank you, Fellow Practitioners! Thank you, Master!"

I read almost every issue of Minghui Weekly, in which the fellow practitioners in their articles discussed what stage the Fa rectification had progressed to, what a practitioner should do, and how a practitioner can do better. These articles were written by disciples who have cultivated themselves solidly and diligently. This comparison made me see my own attachments: being self-absorbed and lazy. I just perfunctorily did the three things that Master has asked us to do. I have not put my heart into offering sentient beings salvation. Master said in the article of "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People,"

When I read the words of "only hope," my tears came down uncontrollably. What did the words "only hope" mean? If I have not done well, I would cut off the sentient beings’ path to the future – the road to eternity. Master said,

Now we can ask ourselves, "Have I met the requirements?

I finished this article without interruption because Master has unlocked my wisdom with the Fa. It is inevitably mixed with my human attachments and shortcomings. I ask fellow practitioners to compassionately point them out.
