(Clearwisdom.net) During the 3-day Independence Day weekend, the 26th Annual Eno River Festival was held in Eno West Point Park in Durham City, NC. Despite the hot temperatures, each day there were over twenty thousand visitors from the local area and out of state. Eno River is the main fresh water supply for the Triangle area of North Carolina. The festival is held to help protect the natural environment and water quality of the Eno River, as well as the culture and history along the river.

Falun Gong was invited to the festival again this year. The practitioners prepared many truth-clarification materials and display boards. The focus this year was to rescue Falun Gong orphans in China.

Clarifying the truth to a visitor

Falun Gong has participated in the event for several years. Many visitors said they had seen Falun Gong before and had already heard about the persecution in China. One tall westerner walked directly to the Falun Gong booth and asked, "How is the situation (in China)? Is the persecution still going on?" A practitioner told him that the persecution has not ended yet and asked him to help rescue the children of Falun Gong practitioners in China. The man took the postcard and sincerely thanked the practitioner. One older lady wanted to donate ten dollars for rescuing the Falun Gong orphans. A practitioner thanked her for the support and told her to donate the money to the Rescue Falun Gong Orphan Foundation.

More people quietly viewed the 30 foot-long span of display boards, reading one after another. A practitioner explained the pictures and answered questions. A gentleman who recently returned from a trip to China and a couple who adopted a Chinese child listened to the introductions and signed their names on the postcard. Other visitors were interested in learning the Falun Gong exercises.

After three days of clarifying the truth, more Americans had a deep and intuitive understanding of the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
