Ms. Li Xianghong, 36, a doctor with the Chemical Exam Section of Shenzhon City Hospital in Hebei Province, lived in the apartment building of the Shenzhou City Construction Bureau. Mr. Li Zhibang from Pingjiang County, Hunan Province, Missing Since the End of 2000
Mr. Li Zhibang, then 62 years old and living at Huangguan Village in Yuping Township, Pingjiang County, came from a poor family. When he started practicing Falun Gong in 1997, his health improved dramatically with all his old health problems vanishing without a trace. After the persecution started on July 20 and because of the Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong, Mr. Li decided to go to Beijing to appeal and clarify the facts to the government, demanding fair treatment for Falun Dafa and practitioners. On December 5, 2000, he started the journey on foot to Beijing. He has been missing ever since. Five years have gone by, and no news has ever been heard from him.
