Indonesia: Police Once Again Forcefully Disperse Practitioners' Peaceful Appeal (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On May 6, 2005, Indonesian Falun Gong
practitioners held a peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese
Embassy and called on the Chinese Communist Party to stop the
persecution of Falun Gong. Police forcefully dispersed the
practitioners, carried away six practitioners to a police vehicle
and took them to the police station. This was the third time since
April 23, 2005 that Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful appeals were
violently disrupted by the police. The police's actions violate
Indonesian law and damage Indonesia's image as a democratic
country.
