After the exposure of policeman He Xuejian's raping women practitioners in Zhuozhou, Hebei Province, China, Thai practitioners have been protesting peacefully in front of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand since December 6, 2005 to expose the CCP police's atrocities and call on the international community to help end the 6-year-long brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. The activity received wide support from local people and was covered by many media.

In the following days, Thai police intervened with the practitioners with the excuse of checking their identification. They forcefully searched practitioners' handbags, snatched banners and pulled the practitioners. The practitioners were physically injured and suffered financially to some degree.

On December 14, Thai police beat practitioners who were distributing truth-clarification literature in Pattaya, a renowned tourist city. On December 15, the Thai police arrested 8 practitioners in front of the Chinese Embassy. Six of them are still being detained at the Immigration Office. The officials in the Immigration Office have behaved badly and the practitioners being detained are holding a hunger strike. Among the practitioners being detained, two have children of 4 and 6 years old, respectively. The children were left unattended because of the unlawful detention.

Thai police and immigration officials agree that this incident happened because of the CCP's pressure. The CCP's embassy called Thai police to have the practitioners arrested. The Falun Dafa Association of South Korea pointed out that the whole world is condemning the CCP's brutal atrocities in the persecution of Falun Gong. But why do such incidents occur in Thailand. It is shameful for Thai Government.

Thus, the Falun Dafa Association of South Korea made the following solemn statements to the Thai Government and CCP regime:

  1. We Strongly protest the Thai police's unlawful actions.
  2. We demand the immediate release of practitioners being detained; and that those persons involved are brought to justice.
  3. Compensation for all practitioners' losses.
  4. We strongly request the Thai government and police to make security arrangements and prevent the occurrence of similar incidents.
  5. We demand that the CCP immediately stop the persecution of Falun Gong and its criminal activities that interfere with practitioners in other countries.

After reading the statements, a practitioner from the Falun Dafa Association of South Korea delivered it to the embassy, and it was accepted by an embassy official.
