An Open Letter to the Associated Press from the Eastern U.S. Buddha's Study Falun Dafa Association

With the release last Friday by AP's Beijing Bureau of the story "Chinese Government Shows off Repentant Falun Gong Followers," we at the association, undoubtedly like many of your readers, can only wonder: Is AP willingly serving as a mouthpiece for the Chinese Communist Party in its deadly campaign against Falun Gong?

San Francisco: Falun Gong Practitioners Call on the Associated Press to Follow Professional Ethics and Correct False Report (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) At noon on January 25, 2005, San Francisco Bay Area Falun Gong practitioners gathered outside the AP Building in San Francisco to peacefully appeal and deliver an open letter. The practitioners called on the AP to clarify its report on the staged "Tiananmen Square Self-immolation" that does not conform with the facts, withdraw its published article, issue an apology for the article, and write another article that reflects the truth of the incident. The bureau chief of the AP in San Francisco, John Raess, came out and accepted the letter from Falun Gong practitioners, and stated that he would transfer the practitioners' requests to the International News Department.

Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Held in Singapore (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On January 23, 2005, Singapore Falun Gong practitioners successfully held the 2005 Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference. Amidst the wind and rain, practitioners in Singapore have walked hand in hand through another year. Previous years recorded practitioners' cultivation process of making continuous improvement while studying the Fa, clarifying the truth and offering salvation to people. The stage of the auditorium was solemnly but brilliantly decorated with fresh flowers and lotus lanterns. In addition to local practitioners, practitioners from Malaysia and Indonesia also attended the Fa conference.
