What Brand of "Chinese Culture" does Chinese State Councilor Chen Zhili Represent?

A Dubious Background

State Councilor Chen Zhili of the People's Republic of China went to South Africa on July 11 for the opening of the "Voyage of Chinese Culture to Africa." She was also to visit Zimbabwe and Tanzania. Africans may want to know more about who Chen Zhili is, and what she represents: a career spent denying the freedoms of speech and belief, and, in her enthusiastic persecution of Falun Gong, the attempt to control a nation's thoughts and beliefs through brainwashing, torture, the denial of access to education, and the indoctrination and promulgation of hate propaganda.

Falun Gong Practitioners Rally and Parade in Boston, Call for an End to the Persecution and State-run Terrorism (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 25, 2004, nearly 2000 Falun Gong practitioners from all over the world gathered in Boston and attended a rally and parade initiated by the "Global Coalition to Stop the Chinese Communist Party from Exporting State-run Terrorism." They hope to let more people know what Falun Dafa is about. At the same time, they called upon various governments, organizations, and kindhearted people to help stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

Eyewitness Reports Seeing Tiananmen Self-Immolation Performers in Hospital

(Clearwisdom.net) In July 2003, I met a prisoner in her 20's in the Fengtai District Detention Center in Beijing. She was very pretty, but had a long scar on her left arm that looked horrifying. I asked her what caused her scar and she told me it was burnt when she was 1 year old. She also said that the scar was not so big at first.
