Young Military Officer Yao Yaoyuan Is Tortured to Death

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Yao Yaoyuan graduated from the PLA (People's Liberation Army) Science and Technology University, and was assigned a job in the Wuhan City Army Equipment College. Because he kept practicing Falun Dafa, he was dismissed from his job in August 2000, and sent back to his home in the countryside. He was illegally arrested by local authorities multiple times. On February 7, 2002, he was arrested and brought to the Xinkaipu Labor Camp in Changsha City, Hunan Province, and sentenced to a one year term. After being released on January 30, 2003, he returned home and vomited blood as a result of the severe torture he received in the labor camp. He died on June 6, 2003.

Torture Cases of Dafa Practitioners by Police Officers and Criminal Inmates in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province

(Clearwisdom.net) The Daqing Prison began detaining Falun Dafa practitioners in 2000. In order to gain political benefits, the prison authorities used various methods to torture detained Dafa practitioners in an effort to make them renounce Falun Dafa. Their methods included coercing common criminal inmates to physically torture Dafa practitioners, depriving practitioners of sleep for extended periods, depriving them of going outdoors, of having family visits, and even of talking. They tried to force practitioners to write the so-called "Five Statements" (1). More than thirty Falun Dafa practitioners were tortured in the Daqing Prison. The following cases of persecution in Daqing City have been carefully investigated, and are detailed below.

(Clearwisdom.net) The No. 3 Forced Labor Camp of Henan Province, known as the "Second Masanjia" ⁽¹⁾ for its cruelty, brutally persecutes Dafa practitioners. Mr. Li Jian was a lawyer from Zhengyang County, Zhumadian City, Henan Province. Because he refused to give up Falun Gong, the No. 3 Forced Labor Camp of Henan Province tortured him repeatedly, causing his death on April 26, 2002.
