In the spring of 2003, when Dafa practitioners in Huling City, Heilongjiang Province learned that Falun Gong practitioners filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin in the International Criminal Court, they took the initiative to provide some supporting evidence. In the Yingchun Area alone, Falun Gong practitioners prepared over 90 letters with specific accusations, but these letters were intercepted by the "610 Office."(1)

Events unfolded in the following manner: One morning, we heard that the Jixi City "610 Office" had sent more than ten policemen to the Bureau of Forestry, where they held a meeting and planned the arrest of all practitioners who wrote letters in support of the Jiang lawsuit. The meeting was held in the Bureau of Forestry, because they planned to arrest the practitioners employed by the Bureau of Forestry first and then the practitioners who worked at the No. 844 Farm.

When we got news of the impending arrests, we immediately informed all practitioners to send forth righteous thoughts. Meanwhile, we made sure that all the practitioners who wrote the letters were moved to special safe houses. People in the Yingchun Area are aware of the truth about Falun Gong, and therefore the "610 Office" and the police did not make any arrests, since nobody was willing to cooperate with them.

Later, the police agents arrested three Falun Gong practitioners from Yingchun County and the Railway Bureau. One was fined , another was sent to a forced labor camp, and the third was sentenced to two years in the forced labor camp.

(1) "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
