U.S. Congressman Steve Chabot Reaffirms His Support of Falun Gong Practitioners

On March 8, Falun Gong practitioners from Cincinnati, Ohio visited U.S. Congressman Steve Chabot. He and his assistant met the practitioners in his office.

Since July 1999, when Jiang's regime started persecuting Falun Gong in China, U.S. Congressman Chabot, and other American Congressmen and government officials who seek justice for Falun Gong practitioners, have condemned the violations of practitioners' basic human rights. Congressman Chabot has been very supportive of practitioners in terms of exposing the persecution and rescuing practitioners who are illegally detained.

"Today You've Met an Honorable Person"

One morning, I bought a two-yuan (1) breakfast and gave a 50 yuan bill to the old man selling the food. He gave me 98 yuan back in change. I gave the extra money back to him. The old man said, "I thought the 50-yuan note was a 100-yuan note. Thank you." A bystander commented, "Today you've met an honorable person."

Falun Dafa practitioners have saved a lot of people by clarifying the truth to them. However, we have found that many people don't care about the persecution, as if it had nothing to do with them. When you try to clarify the truth to them, they say that they don't have any political interests, so they feel that the persecution of Falun Gong is none of their business and they should simply listen to whatever the higher authorities say. Some people claim they don't believe in Falun Gong, but that they are not against it either. However, in their hearts, they still listen to the evil propaganda.
