Liaoning, China: Silk Lotus Flowers Mysteriously Blossom
(Clearwisdom.net) There is a family of Falun Gong practitioners in Liaoning Province, China. A total of seventeen people in the family practice Falun Gong: an older couple, their seven sons and daughters, plus daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and several grandchildren. Since the beginning of the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, six members of the family have been forced to stay away from home to avoid persecution and five were fired from their jobs. The old couple is steadfast in practicing Falun Gong, though they are often harassed by police or government officials. It has been four years since the whole family celebrated the Chinese New Year together, but several sons and daughters visit them occasionally and share experiences and understandings. The whole family encourages each other as they step forward on the path of validating Dafa.
Last August, their fourth daughter bought two bundles of silk lotus flowers to put by their pictures of the Teacher as a symbol of respect. There were three flowers in each bundle. Two of them were half blossomed and one was a bud. Half a month ago, the mother found that the four half-blossomed flowers had fully blossomed and looked very elegant and graceful. The two buds had become ready for blossom. The whole family was delighted by this wonder and felt the compassionate encouragement from Teacher. They are determined to be diligent on the last leg of the journey of validating Dafa and fulfill their ancient, grand wish.
Let's review part of Teacher's lecture at the 2003 Washington DC Fa Conference,
"So for Dafa disciples, no matter how harsh this period of history that we're going through is, there's nothing to grieve over. What we're thinking about is saving sentient beings, and you should fulfill [the aspirations of] a being who came for the Fa and the significance of your coming here. So we have nothing to regret, and what awaits Dafa disciples are all wonderful things."
