(Clearwisdom.net) At the Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, Zhang Yunqing and Jia Meili, along with drug addicts and sex offenders, have repeatedly tortured steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners. Zhang and Jia, two ex-practitioners, have taken part in devising and executing tortures. They have forced practitioners to stand upright and stay awake continuously for several days and nights. When practitioners become unconscious after severe torture, these evildoers pressure them into signing the so-called transformation letter, a declaration renouncing their belief in Falun Dafa.

Furthermore, Zhang and Jia have goaded other Shibalihe Camp inmates to humiliate and torture practitioners using despicable tactics. One such tactic is to grab women practitioners' breasts and yank them forward to cause bleeding and excruciating pain. The perpetrators have also stabbed practitioners' vaginas with a screwdriver. They have grabbed hold of practitioners' hair and pounded their heads against the wall. Several practitioners in this camp have lost their lives to such savage tortures.

When a practitioner dies, the Shebalihe Camp not only refuses to inform the victim's family, but also unceremoniously disposes of the corpse. Should family members inquire about the status of a detainee, the camp claims that the practitioner was absent. More often than not, this claim indicates that the practitioner has been tortured to death.

At the end of each quarter or the beginning of the next, the Shibalihe Labor Camp forces practitioners to take a written test that fabricates evidence for reducing the term of imprisonment. The camp also imposes a so-called security check that is intended to confiscate any Dafa material. The camp guards conduct a body search on every practitioner and inspect all personal belongings.

Upon returning to his cell after a day of hard labor on April 5, 2004, an illegally detained practitioner discovered that his clothes container had been turned inside out; quilts and clothes were thrown all over the floor, and sheets of paper were torn to pieces.

Though the guards occasionally feel guilty, they claim that, "These are camp regulations. We must obey."

The head of the persecution, Jiang Zemin, visited the Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp on July 30, 2004.
