Dr. Li Zhigang is Illegally Sentenced for Five Years and Tortured in the Military Prison in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Dr. Li Zhigang got his Ph.D. in computer science at the National University of Defense Technology located at Changsha City of Hunan Province. Because he is a Falun Gong practitioner, he was arrested and sent to prison twice. First he was sentenced to forced labor camp for one and half years, and then he was sentenced to prison for five years. He is now being held at the Military Prison under the Political Department of Guangzhou Army District.
Liaohua Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Gao Manli Sentenced to Eight Years Imprisonment
(Clearwisdom.net) Today I cried when I learned from Minghui.net that Dafa practitioner Gao Manli was illegally sentenced to eight years imprisonment in July 2003. Gao Manli is now about 50 years old, but she looks very young, and is a lively and open-minded person. She is a retired employee of Liaoning Chemical Factory, where she used to be an accountant, and she was an excellent worker. She, her husband Zhou Zhigang, and their son Zhou Kuang lived a happy life. She lives in No. 17 area of Liaoning Province Chemical Factory. Many people know that she practices Falun Gong and is a good person.
Imprisoned Twice in Four Years for Their Beliefs
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Xiao Guiying was born on November 8, 1951 at Zhongfang County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province. Because Ms. Xiao went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in September 1999, the police abducted and detained her at Wushuilu Detention Center in Huaihua City for 15 days. Twenty days later, she went to Beijing to appeal again, and she returned home safely. In November of the same year, she was arrested for appealing for Falun Gong from her home in Xinjiezu, Zhongfang Village, Zhongfang Township, Zhongfang County. They ransacked Ms. Xiao's home and detained her at Wushuilu Detention Center in Huaihua City again.
