Wu Yuan, Dafa Practitioner from Lingyuan City, Is Tortured to Death

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 8, 2003, the family of Wu Yuan, a middle school teacher from Beilu, Lingyuan City, received a notice from the Chenyang Dabei Second Prison. Liang Xiuyu, Wu Yuan's wife, went to the prison hospital on the morning of December 10 and could hardly recognize the emaciated figure of her husband. When Wu Yuan tried to say something to her, the guards immediately interrupted him and sent Liang Xiuyu away. Later that same day, Wu's family received notice of his death. His body was bruised blue and purple, and his ears and nose were stuffed with cotton balls. The prison refused to provide medical records or to carry out an autopsy.

Falun Dafa Practitioner Xie Guichen in Shulan City, Jilin Province Beaten to Disability and Poisoned by the Police

1. Shulan City Dafa Practitioner Xie Guichen lost the use of one leg due to police brutality; he was also poisoned

According to an internal source from Shulan Police Department, practitioner Xie Guichen was recently sentenced to eight years in prison. Changchun City's Tiebei Prison refused to accept him since one of his legs was disabled due to police brutality. He has been detained at Shulan City Detention Center for more than five months. Mr. Xie started a hunger strike during his detention to protest the illegal incarceration. To punish him, the police force-fed him with highly concentrated saline solution. The police also knocked out two of his front teeth during the savage force-feeding. The prison doctor furthermore force-fed him poisonous drugs. When the drugs took effect the pain and itch on his chest was so unbearable that he scratched it severely until it was bleeding. Before the prison doctor did the force-feeding, detention center Director Zhao ordered the doctor to give him an injection of poison. The doctor cautioned that such injection might be too dangerous, so they decided to force-feed Xie Guichen with poisonous drugs instead.

Ms. Liu Zhifen

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Liu Zhifen was 60 years old and had lived at the Eighth Group in Zhenxingtan Village, Chongyang Town, Sichuan Province. She used to make a living as a tailor on East Wenhua Street in Chongzhou City. Ms. Liu had suffered from chronic diseases like stomach disease, rheumatism and other ailments and needed to take daily medications. Her body was very weak and she was in pain. Since she had started to practice Falun Gong in 1997, however, all her diseases were gone. She looked much younger than before.
