Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

"It is indeed as they said, 'whoever tears it off will receive karmic retribution.'"

A driver in Jiaohe City, Jilin Province was asked by the local officials to tear off Dafa materials that practitioners posted on the street or to smear the words on them. One day he had an accident while riding a motorcycle and broke his hand. He said with regret, "It is indeed as they said, 'whoever tears it off will receive retribution.' I told my supervisor not to ask me to do it any more. "

"I received karmic retribution."

A farmer in Jiaohe City used to tear off Dafa posters and blamed practitioners for posting them. Practitioners patiently clarified the truth of Dafa to him and told him the principle of "Good will be rewarded with good and evil will receive karmic retribution." He said, "I am not afraid of any karmic retribution. Tell me when I will receive karmic retribution." On his way home on a cart pulled by an ox, he fell from the cart and broke his leg. After some time, he went to a practitioner's home with crutches and said, "Now I have received karmic retribution. Can you lend me the Dafa books? I want to learn."

In the battle between the good and evil, many people get lost. Surrounded by lies, some foster hatred towards the people who are practicing Truth, Benevolence, and Forbearance. They even help the evil and create huge karma for themselves. Yet the benevolent gods won't give up on them. They take some part from their karma and make them pay their debts, so as to give them an opportunity to reflect. How many people who are living in the maze can really understand the kindness in this? Fortunately, some people have awakened. They sincerely regret and began to think it through seriously. They understand who are really responsible for them. After thorough thinking, many of them go on the path of cultivation.

We will post cases of karmic retribution in the future, not as proof of punishment, but to save more people who are deceived by the lies, but still have conscience.
