California: Falun Gong Practitioners Conduct a Mock Trial of Jiang Zemin in San Francisco's Chinatown (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net, August 18, 2003) The repression of Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang Zemin and the "610 Office" he created is persecution against human beings' kind nature, and is an attempt to destroy the core value of mankind's morality, "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance." On August 16, Falun Gong practitioners from the San Francisco Bay area went to the Garden Corner in San Francisco Chinatown and conducted a public mock trial of the chief criminal of the persecution, Jiang Zemin. On that day, constant streams of crowds passed by the Garden Corner. The public mock trial attracted much attention from the passersby.

BRUSSELS, Belgium -- Members of the Falun Gong spiritual movement have filed a lawsuit against former Chinese President Jiang Zemin for human rights abuses.

Six members of the group -- which is banned in China -- filed the suit in Brussels on Wednesday under a revamped Belgian genocide law.

When Shiying was imprisoned in Jilin Province Women's Jail, in order to force her to give up practicing Falun Gong, the police guards often instigated seven or eight criminals to brutally beat her.
