You've all seen that when you think back, from July 20, 1999, all the way up till today, we've gone through a period of time that's not too long but that's felt extremely long, and during this time you've experienced so much.

Dafa Practitioner Mr. Ji Songshan Killed by Police in Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province

27-year-old Dafa practitioner Mr. Ji Songshan lived in Nanshan, Lingdong District of Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province. Around 10 AM, June 17, 2003, police from the city's anti-crime team kidnapped him from his home. They tortured him for a "confession" in extremely cruel ways, killing him about 3 PM on June 18. After that, they also extorted money from his family.
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Yang Yufang's Corpse Covered with Cuts and Bruises

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Yufang, 50, was a resident of Kouwaidongyaozi, Qiaoxi District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. On May 17, 2003, Yang was arrested and taken away by the 3rd Division of the city police. Yang protested by holding a hunger strike, and the police further persecuted her by force-feeding her on two separate occasions. Yang died on June 16, 2003. The police secretly cremated her body.

The Jinan City Forced Labor Camp is located on the hillside of Liuchangshan Mountain to the southwest of Jinan City. Falun Gong practitioners have been detained here since December 1999. In October 2000, about 100 Dafa practitioners were being illegally detained. At the end of October, about 30 Dafa practitioners were transferred to the Xibaoshan Zibo Forced Labor Camp (also named 'Shandong Province 2nd Forced Labor Camp' which is located at Wangcun of Shandong Province) for further persecution.
