Running rampant in Mainland China, the SARS epidemic has also reached Hong Kong and many other overseas countries, resulting in huge loss of life and property. As we pause and reflect on this painful experience, have we asked ourselves: Where did this epidemic come from and where is it heading?

Dafa Practitioners He Wenjie and Zhou Jun from Xinjiang Province Tortured to Death

He Wenjie, male, 30, was tortured to death on April 13, 2003 at the Sishiliting Labor "Education" Farm in Yanji, Kuerle City, Xinjiang Province.

Zhou Jun, female, 30, was tortured to death in April 2003 at the Urumqi Female Labor Camp in Xinjiang Province.

Evidence of Chinese Special Agents Outside China Collecting Information on Practitioners: A Practitioner from Japan Is Interrogated and Threatened While Visiting Relatives in China

My name is Cai Yingzi, a female Falun Gong practitioner from Japan. On January 24, 2003, I went back to Dalian City, China with my two year and five month old child to spend the Chinese New Year with my husband's family. The trip lasted three weeks. Except for shopping together with my in-laws, I just stayed at home most of the time. Two days before I was going to go back to Japan, at about 2 p.m. on February 12th, one woman and three men knocked on the door and said they were from the Dalian City Police Department, and wanted me to go with them to talk so they could learn some information from outside of China. They promised that I could return soon, and asked me to bring my passport. I trusted them and went with them.
