Four years ago on this day, more than 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners went to the Appeals Office of the State Council in Beijing to peacefully appeal to the central government. Sydney Dafa practitioners held a series of activities to commemorate April 25.

Righteous thoughts outside the Chinese Consulate and a candlelight vigil

On April 25-26, Sydney Dafa practitioners gathered outside the Chinese Consulate to send righteous thoughts. A banner reading, "Lawsuits against Jiang Zemin have been filed around the world, severely punish all accomplices" and a banner reading, "Lawyers from several countries file a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin with the charge of genocide" and banners with photos of Falun Gong practitioners who have been tortured to death and display boards exposing the persecution, conveyed a strong message: On the fourth anniversary of April 25, the brutal torture and abuse of Falun Gong practitioners continues. Jiang has been sued in Chicago's US Federal Court, and also in other countries. Jiang directed the suppression of Falun Gong practitioners in China and established the "610 Office" specially taking charge of persecuting Falun Gong. Jiang must be held accountable for 665 torture deaths of Falun Gong practitioners over the past four years. Dafa practitioners sent forth their most pure and steadfast powerful righteous thoughts at the top of each hour to eliminate evil factors in other dimensions.

From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on April 25, Sydney Dafa practitioners held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Consulate to commemorate all Falun Gong practitioners who have been tortured to death.

With the inspiration of April 25 spirit, making good use of opportunities to save people

During the two-day activities, we set up Dafa information stands in different locations in Sydney where there are many Chinese people. Other than the Chinese Consulate, the practitioners went to many other locations to distribute Dafa truth-clarifying materials and clarify the truth to people.

It happened that April 25 is also Australia's Anzac Day. After the parade concluded, people flocked to Chinatown to visit the street market that is specially set up every Friday afternoon in Paifang Street. Dafa practitioners took this opportunity to clarify the truth to the Chinese people.

The practitioners showed the film "Grand Trial" to the audience once every half an hour, attracting many people to watch. When Dafa practitioners told tourists that Jiang covered up the truth and caused the SARS epidemic to get out of control, bringing disaster to both China and the world, they suddenly understood and said, "We have been kept in the dark. If we hadn't been out of the country, we would have thought the epidemic had been controlled, and it wouldn't be a big deal." Dafa practitioners naturally led the topic from Jiang's selling the Chinese territory, to covering up the SARS epidemic, and to the issue of suppressing Falun Gong over the last several years. Jiang concocted lies, especially the "self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square" to frame Falun Gong, causing the Chinese people's minds to be deeply poisoned. These tourists soon felt awakened. One lady said, "People who practice Falun Gong are healthy both physically and mentally, and they are not afraid of SARS. I'll go to learn to practice Falun Gong exercises tomorrow morning at Darling Harbor practice site. Before going back to China, I must learn how to practice the five sets of Falun Gong exercises." Other Chinese men watched the film several times and immediately learned the Falun Gong exercises at the Chinatown practice site. They know Falun Gong practitioners and people who know "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" will receive good rewards.

The practitioners also set up a Chinese calligraphy stand. In half a day, over 800 Western people happily received Chinese calligraphy with their translated names written in Chinese. People actively signed their names on the signature-collection book to support Falun Dafa.

More and more people know the shocking news that Jiang is being sued.

Group morning practice at Bondi Beach

At 5:30 p.m. on April 26, more than 150 Dafa practitioners arrived at the Bondi Beach in the east of Sydney, lit candles and placed them in a long line along the beach in front of each practitioner. Behind them, several Dafa practitioners unfurled three banners, reading, "Falun Dafa is good," "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," and "Chinese leader Jiang Zemin is sued for genocide." Dark clouds covered the starless sky. Dafa practitioners in white suits sat on air mattresses to do the fifth set of Falun Dafa exercises and send forth righteous thoughts at the top of each hour. At 6:30 a.m., the sun rose and practitioners performed the other four sets of Falun Dafa exercises.

At 8:00 a.m., the morning exercises in memory of the four-year anniversary of April 25 concluded after all practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts in conjunction with the global sending of righteous thoughts.

The media, including Reuters, AP, AFP, Australia No.9 TV Station, The Sydney Morning Herald, Courier Mail, a Bondi local newspaper, came to conduct interviews and cover the event.
