(Clearwisdom.net) The grand celebration parade of the annual Canadian Grey Cup Football Finals was held in Regina, the capital of Saskatchewan Province, on November 15, 2003 and over 50 social groups and organizations from all over Canada participated in this event. To show the beauty of Falun Dafa to Regina residents and TV audiences of North America, local Falun Gong practitioners submitted an application very early and were selected by the city government among many applicants to be invited to participate in this event.

The Grey Cup was initiated by Canadian Football League (CFL) and is one of the largest among all the sports activities. It has a history of 94 years. Moreover, this year is the 100th anniversary of the city of Regina. Therefore, this celebration has become the largest event of the year in Regina. As early as this past September, the city government and fellow residents started to prepare for this extraordinary celebration.

Although the temperature now is already far below freezing in Regina, it has not dampened the people's enthusiasm. Long before the parade procession arrived, spectators who bundled up with blankets or quilts to keep warm had already been waiting along the street to applaud and greet the procession.

The Falun Gong group, formed by practitioners from Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon and Toronto, put on an outstanding performance during the parade. Practitioners in yellow exercise suits led the procession. In the forefront, practitioners held a banner with the words "Falun Dafa Is Good" and a colorful balloon rainbow. They were followed by the fan dance team who were dressed in beautiful red dance outfits. Behind the dance team was the float and a banner with the words "The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." On the float, six practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. At the end of our procession was the dance team formed by Western Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners' procession was warmly received, and some spectators even ran into the procession, and shook hands with practitioners to express their congratulations and appreciation.
